I've been making these bags for awhile. Takes a 24" by 10" strip of heavyweight fabric and the same or more of lining and some zips, a clasp, a strap, a couple rings, and you're good to go.

This is where you're going to choose a clasp if you're installing it through the outside layer of fabric. If you aren't, like this bag below, it can wait

Hook your strap onto that (or sew it on) and enjoy!
